We are dedicated to making your diving trip a unique experience.
Our diving excursions will be within the 13 points that make up the Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve.
When you arrive at the center, we will introduce you to the staff who will assist you throughout the experience. We will show you our facilities and register you so you don't have to give us your information every time you come. We will also take care of your needs in terms of equipment, tanks, and weights so you can get ready.
We will explain the corresponding dive in a briefing so that you are eager to dive but at the same time can listen calmly and process what you are going to see.
We will load our equipment and head to the La Azohía pier, where the boat will pick us up and take us to the dive site. During the trip, we can answer any last-minute questions that may arise.
Upon arrival at the site, we will review the buddy pairs, do a final check, and our skipper will let us jump into the water in an orderly and safe manner. From then on, once everyone is in the water, we will enjoy a 45-50 minute dive.
After surfacing and between dives, we will have a pleasant surface interval where we will conduct the briefing for the second dive while having a light lunch and changing tanks.
After the second dive, we will return to the center where we will rinse the equipment and let it dry. We will record our dive in the logbooks, weigh the collected trash for registration and later conversion into a donation to a Conservation Organization that we will announce monthly. We will also comment and share the highlights of the dives while enjoying a first refreshment with an appetizer to which you will be invited.
WANT TO KNOW MORE...?
The Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve We tell you more about the place where we find our main dive sites: It has 1,173 hectares in external and internal waters. This area presents natural landscapes of great beauty, dominated by an abrupt coastal orography, beaches, small coves, and cliffs, which make up an ecosystem with a high ecological value due to the presence of habitats and species, such as underwater caves, rocky bottoms, and meadows of marine phanerogams. The presence of Posidonia oceanica supports numerous species linked to the coast, which find a favorable environment to reproduce and develop, in addition to attracting other pelagic species such as leerfish and barracuda. Also characteristic are the maërl beds that present a high diversity and abundance of associated organisms. The populations of seabirds such as the European storm petrel and the Cory's shearwater stand out. It is considered a key natural area for the conservation of the bottlenose dolphin and the loggerhead sea turtle, as well as the presence of other cetaceans, such as the pilot whale, the striped dolphin, and the seasonal passage of fin whales and sperm whales.
